Bichectomy refers to the surgery of reducing the “Bichat (buccal fat pad) fat” on the cheek in order to make the middle part of the face more polite in suitable patients by entering through a small incision through the mouth in order to clarify the cheekbones and reduce the side parts of the mid-face area.
In order to give the face a more attractive and polite appearance, excess fat is removed through an incision made through the mouth to eliminate the regional plump and overweight appearance that disturbs the patient. The aim is to increase the prominence of the cheekbones in suitable patients and to provide a younger appearance by making the midface area look thinner.
